God has a dream for the people of

Our Father Lutheran Church

Unfortunately God does not explain that dream in an email!

We have to listen & share what God tells us.

Listen to what some people thing then share what you hear God saying about yourself and this community.

What is God's dream for the people of Our Father?:

Message: 1. Support our fabulous staff with adequate salaries.
2. Provide Christian education opportunities for all age groups.
3. Continue outreach activities to the community, especially with the food pantry but also with other events that bring people to see our love for Christ and for each other.

Frances Gill:

My only comment is that I agree with everyone else's comments.

As for dreams and goals…

I would love for the church to continue to reach out to the community… and to grow.

If we had some more money…

Staff raises… youth funding…  new carpet and kneeling bench recovers.

If we had crazy money, landscaping beautifications, parking lot redo, God’s garage refurbishment.

I believe God's dream for Our Father is that we would continue to grow where He has planted us. God often guides special people to smaller churches, bringing with them unique gifts, talents, and hearts for service. In a smaller congregation, there is a deeper sense that each person matters and that every contribution is important. There is a desire to do God’s work with our own hands because we recognize that if not us, then who?

We see this church as a family, a family that loves, supports, and grows by working together. You Ken, are certainly a wonderful example of that spirit. Throughout the Bible, God often chose those who were less known, less powerful, or less popular to lead His people and accomplish His purposes. Time and again, He showed that greatness is not measured by numbers or status, but by faithfulness and trust in Him.

I believe God's dream for this congregation is that we would continue to work together with the blessings He has already provided, using our gifts to share His love in as many ways as possible. His dream is not necessarily that we become the biggest church, but that we become a church known for its faithfulness, compassion, service, and love for one another.

I already see God at work in this church family. I see people serving, caring, encouraging, and spreading the Good News through both their words and their actions. I believe God's dream is that we would always strive to grow and become the best version of ourselves for His glory, while also being content and steadfast as faithful followers of Christ.

As newer members, we have seen many positive signs of love, care, and a genuine desire to belong to and strengthen this congregation. These are gifts from God that should be celebrated. Now, it is our responsibility to take that love beyond these walls, to reach our community, and to live out our faith each day. God's dream for us is not simply that we attend church, but that we be the Church in the world, reflecting His love, grace, and hope wherever He sends us.
